This volume stands alone from Vol 1 and is a little more technical but nonetheless very instructive and useful.  It contains a transcript and explanation of the famous Monde video in which we see Erickson working with a patient called Monde and her friend of Nick who has not experienced hypnosis before.  Erickson uses the installation of trance in Monde to get Nick to go into trance.  Very clever use of utilisation, a trademark of Erickson’s work.  The video here gives an excerpt of the beginning of the session.  The complete video is available from  https://catalog.erickson-foundation.org/page/artistry-of-mhe
