Aroma: Sweet, chocolate, balsamic (Thailand); warm, powdery, sweet (Indonesia).

Can be used as a bonding agent in stick & cone incenses. Burn on charcoal, Benzoin mixes well with other incenses to impart body and performance to create pleasingly different aromas and was a favourite with the Egyptians. Great for meditation.
