The Witches’ Rune is a powerful conjuration calling on the elemental forces as well as the gods & goddesses of the pagan world and can be used by any magician nor just witches.  A ‘Rune’, in this sense, is a poem, story or spell.  In Norse Magic, the Runes of the Elder Futhark were used in writing down stories or recording deeds of kings & heroes and for casting spells.
