The Mock, or Indian Strawberry is mostly grown in the garden as an ornamental plant or medicinal plant.  Magically, strawberries are fed to a lover or carried for luck; although the Mock Strawberry has no taste or smell.  However, growing one will attract luck.

The Mock Strawberry has yellow flowers whereas the Wild Strawberry or commercially available strawberry have white or slightly pink flowers.
