Editor: Philip Edinger
pre-Loved (Second Hand): well-used, some scuffing to edges of cover although generally in good condition.
This little book, published by Sunset Books, was a classic in its day. Simple, straightforward and well illustrated.
From a review: “The first three sections cover the history, culture, propagation and uses of herbs. The last section (23 pages) lists herbs by their common name (anise to yarrow) and gives growing instructions for each. It also includes its height, soil requirements, exposure, propagation and uses. The photos are black and white, so not as useful as colour ones would be. I liked the planting suggestions for shady areas, for a hillside, and for a formal garden plus others.”
