MYRRH GUM (Commiphoria myr.) 50g

Purifying & protective, it is often burned with frankincense on charcoal as an incense. The smoke is used to consecrate, purify & bless magical, ritual & personal objects. Also used in healing rituals & charm bags. Myrrh was the basis of early perfumes. Arab women wore small sachets of myrrh around their necks. The heat of their bodies causing the myrrh to give off its appealing odour.  Aroma: Spicy, aromatic, delicate, appealing.

One of the two most sacred & magical incenses. The other being Frankincense.
